Ashek is an enthusiastic individual who has demonstrated self-motivation and passion from an early age. He completed his Bachelor’s degree from Khulna University in Bangladesh and went on to earn his Master’s degree from Monash University, Australia one of the world’s top 50 universities.

Following his graduation in Australia, Ashek gained valuable experience working at the renowned Blue Carbon Lab and within the waste industry in Australia. Driven by a vision to contribute to the environmental and climate sectors in his home country, he returned to Bangladesh and established VerdantCore Research & Consultancy. This firm is dedicated to enhancing the consultancy and research landscape in Bangladesh by providing a wide range of environmental and engineering services.

Ashek brings a wealth of experience in the water sector also, having worked with the Asian Development Bank. He has also contributed to the academic community by publishing peer-reviewing journal articles in the water sector. Ashek has been recognized for his achievements like scholarships and research grants from Monash University, Australia and the Bangladesh Government.
